In the playground it is possible to shift costs, data and settings of the MJOP activities to make changes that are not done directly on the activities themselves. This allows you to "play" with the actual data in the playground in order to ultimately arrive at a realistic forecast.
By making adjustments under the tabs about the settings that belong to the MJOP, the activities will be adjusted accordingly. For example, it is possible to fill in the starting year, the period, the indexation, possibly hourly wages and the number of buildings here. As indicated, this will cause the settings to display the data under the Activities, Dashboard and Updated Tasks sub tabs based on those settings. This will allow you to choose to show one or more or just all buildings.
By adjusting activities, they will turn red. A red colored amount means that there has been a change to this and that it is listed under Updated Tasks. Under this tab all changes will be saved. One can then choose to apply the updated tasks to the underlying MJOP activities. In addition, the Dashboards sub tab provides an overview of the activities, also based on the settings set at the top of the page.
When a forecast is set up as desired, a name can be given to the forecast at "Description" with a comment if necessary. After filling in the description, the "Save" button will be activated, so that the forecast can be saved. A forecast can be saved without having to have the updated tasks implemented. This means that a number of different forecasts can be created and only activated after a decision has been made by carrying out the tasks. To practice with this, there is the MJOP training.
